Scrap Club just wrapped up a few hours ago.  Everyone was pleased with the projects using the Olivia Workshop-on-the-Go.  They also enjoyed learning some new techniques, especially the faux stitching.  The first time I remember seeing faux stitching was on Tresa Black’s UStream Channel (also on her blog, Fabulously Artsy).  I don’t own a sewing machine and hand-stitching large areas…well, let’s face it, that’s just not happening, so I absolutely love faux stitching.  They also learned how to create an accordian fold element/border, sand, dry emboss, and create a journal pocket.  We also practiced some old (previously learned) techniques, like second generation stamping, random stamping, sponging, rolling and direct-to-paper inking.
