Do you ever sit down to make a card and wonder, “Where do I begin?” Well, here’s a suggestion…
Consider using one of Close To My Heart’s How-to Books. I used Wishes to create the three cards for this month’s Stamp of the Month blog hop.

I used the pattern on page 30 called “Merryj-Go-Round” for this “i love u” card. I didn’t have any alphabet stamps small enough for my sentiment, so I decided to do it ol’ school…by hand. 🙂
Pens: Black Marker
Embellishments: Daisy White Waxy Flax, Colonial White Grosgrain Ribbon, Opaque Pearl Gems
Embellishments: Canvas Badge Buttons, Opaque Mocha Gems, Chocolate Grosgrain Ribbon (Ret.)

I thought it would be fun to show how different the card can look simply changing the paper pattern/colors and embellishments. This is the same pattern as the wedding card above.

The little stars below the red cardstock strip is the bottom half of the little “celebrate” stamp in the SOTM set. Kinda cool, huh?

Great cards. Like the idea of using the round metal tags from the office supply. Wish we still carried those!
