My winter break is coming to a close waaaaaayyyyy to quickly.  Unfortunately, my break wasn’t as planned, as I had several medical issues that kept me from “wasting time away” in my craft room.  But I’m pleased to say that I managed to have fun today getting the cards completed for next week’s Cards, Etc. Before I began making these cards, I knew that I wanted to shoot two birds with one stone.  Get the cards created and to enter some challenges…since I haven’t done that in quite a while.

This “So Thankful…” card is based on sketch SSS191 from The Sweet Stop and the color combination CTD223 at The Color Throwdown.

Inside reads “…your kindness.”

  

I love CAS (Clean and Simple) cards, but I always struggle with them a little, as I always feel like I need to add just a little more.  However, with the higher complexity of the other two projects, I knew I wanted to have a card that was just a little easier to complete.

This “Smitten” card is based on sketch #44 at RetroSketches, while the color combo is last week’s color combo at ColourQ, #169.
