This week at Heart 2 Heart the challenges is to include a pun in your project. Puns are so much fun, don’t you think? Honestly, puns are a staple of card making and even scrapbooking. Despite that fact, I still managed to always have the same problem I always have…what to make? So here’s what I did. I pulled out my Close To My Heart idea book and looked for stamp sets that contained puns. After considering several stamp sets, like”Puns of Praise”, “Hello Tweety”, and “Under the Sea”, I chose to go with “Cozy Cat” because I really liked the phrase “Hope you’re feline better.”
After settling on a stamp set, I started looking for ideas on Pintrest for projects with a “get well” theme. In doing so, I came across a cute kleenex box that took me to a blog that included instructions on making one. Long story short, in the process I came across a completely different kind of kleenex box that included a tutorial video and I thought, THAT’S what I want to make. 🙂 So I pulled out my Avonlea paper, Cricut Art Philosophy, ink pads and other supplies and got to work….and I LOVE how it turned out.

I chose not to adhere the image layer directly to the box, because I thought it would be nice for the recipient to have the option to be able to remove it after they were well and continue to use it as a decorative tissue box. So I used a loopy brad that I had in my stash and tucked it up under the ribbon so it would be hidden if the recipient chose to take the tag off.
- Use mostly CTMH products.
- Incorporate this week’s challenge of using a pun.
- Link your project back to Heart 2 Heart Challenges from your blog post or online gallery. If you are linking from a blog, you must link directly to the actual post, not your entire blog.
- You also need to mention Heart 2 Heart in your blog post.
- Finally, we do ask that you consider turning off word verification, as it does make it easier (and less time consuming) for the design team to leave comments, as well as other visitors to your blog. 😉
Until next time…

Although I'm not a cat person, this is so cute, Tamytha and I could sure use those tissues right about now! Haha!
