Another one two of my favorite products getting ready to retire at the end of the month are actually both ribbon. I love ribbon. There’s something about having some sort of ribbon, fabric, twine, etc. that just seems to kick any project up a notch. Of course, ribbons come and go and there’s always a new pattern, type, etc., but the two that I am highlighting are my go-to ribbons….Color-ready seam binding and dark chocolate striped grosgrain ribbon. Below are some of my favorite projects using the color-ready seam binding. I’ll highlight the grosgrain ribbon in the next day or two.
I really, really hate to see the color-ready seam binding retire, as it makes it so easy to customize ribbon to any color of ink that you have. So keep in mind that every single one of these creations is using just one kind of ribbon. 🙂

| This is a card I made for the My Heart’s Swap Group hosted by my friend Tamra Pope. I also had to snag this pic from her blog, since it seems that I failed to take a photo of it. |
 |
| I don’t believe I ever posted this card. This card was inspired by Allisa Chilton of Rocky Mountain paper Crafts |
 |
| This is another card that I never posted. It was inspired by by this beautiful card by Carol Labuski. |
 |
| A Pop of Color I actually braided the ribbon for this card. It really added some fun texture. |

Next Week’s Scrapbook Workshop See how the ribbon as been sponged with various inks?
If you would like to obtain some of this ribbon for yourself, just check out the retiring items section of your Close To My Heart consultant’s web site, or on my website.
Until next time…
