As I was going through the list of retiring stamps the other day, several of the stamp sets on the list tugged at my heart a little, as it’s kind of sad to see them retire. Several of the stamp sets have become my favorite and in some cases…my “go to” stamps for various projects….

Out with the old and in with the new….
FedEx delivered the new 2013 Close To My Heart Spring/Summer Idea Books to me today. I’ve spent the better part of the day joyfully making my wish list. I’ll spare you…and my husband…the total cost. 🙂 If you love new crafty goodies like I do, then I’m sure you are eager to see what’s new…

Home Decor Project
I don’t do a lot of altered or home decor projects. I’m not sure why other than “time” for me is always, always, always an issue. By the time I complete my layouts for my monthly scrapbooking club and any other obligations, like swaps and blog hops, I have very little time for other projects….
Pigment Inks vs. Dye Inks
I’ve included below the most recent video from Close To My Heart. Monica and Kristine discuss the differences in how pigment inks and dye inks look on both cardstock and pattern papers….pigment is more opaque and vibrant, while dye ink is more translucent and less vibrant. However, I would be lying if I didn’t say I was…

Paper Organization
I honestly have more paper than any one person should ever have. It’s my thing…my favorite thing. In fact, I often try my hardest not to walk by paper when I’m the craft store. If I’m in a scrapbooking store, I intentionally try to focus on anything BUT paper, because if I see pretty paper,…
A Little Bit Country
After all the busyness of the last few months, I’ve been feeling the affect of the lack of creativity in my life. In other words, crafting = happiness. There’s a definite affect on my mood when I don’t create and every time I say I won’t let that happen…well, life happens. I did manage to…
October Scrapbook Workshop
Again….long time, no see…I mean…no post. Every spare minute seems to be spent on school-related responsibilities. I’ve had virtually no time to create or even respond to many emails (if I owe you an email, I promise, I’ll be in touch soon). However, today I did put the pile of papers that need grading to…
