Ugh…what a frustrating experience I’ve just had. I was intrigued with the Play Date Cafe’s challenge for this week (now last week’s). It wasn’t a color combo that I would have selected on my own, so I wanted to try my hand at it. I haven’t been feeling well the last couple of days, so I didn’t finish making the card until this evening. Actually, with just enough time to take a quick photo, load it to my blog and then load it to Play Date Cafe blog before the deadline. Things were going well, until I tried to upload the photo to my blog. Blogger didn’t like the file type…QuickTime. Why was it saving my pictures with this file extension?! Even ALL of my other files that had been saved prior to tonight…a week ago, a month ago, a year ago! were displaying as QuickTime files!!! I opened up my pics in my photo editing program and “Saved as…” a JPEG file, but every time I would open up the picture file, it was still in a QuickTime file format! UGH! I restarted my computer several times, tried deleting QuickTime from my computer, did a system restore, and everything else I could think of. I left-clicked and right-clicked everything I could. I’m not sure what I did…couldn’t tell you, or even repeat it, even if my life depended on it, but I opened up my files and lo and behold, everything was listed as JPEG files. More than two hours later, I’m able to load my pictures, but I missed the deadline for the Play Date Cafe. So frustrating! Oh well, I’ll still entered my card into this week’s H2H and Paper Playtime Challenges as they are both “Thank You” challenges and I’m also entering it into Taylored Expressions, as this card is also based on this week’s sketch.
Anyway…here’s my card.
Supplies used (all CTMH unless otherwise noted):
Embellishments: Clear Sparkles, Ribbon (Webster’s Pages), Flowers (Prima & CTMH)
Other items: Prisma Glitter, Micro-tip scissors, Glue Pen, 3D Foam Tape, Corner Rounder, Sponge, Euro Personal Trimmer, Edge Distresser, Sanding Block
Here was the color challenge from Play Date Cafe
And here’s the sketch from Taylored Expressions

Great card! You did a fantastic job with these colors, even if you couldn't enter it 😦 Computers can be so frustrating sometimes!!!
