July's Stamp of the Month…"Live Out Loud"

July 2012’s Stamp of the Month is called…..

****Live Out Loud****

The blog hop makes a circle so if you are starting here just continue until you make your way back and you will have made it through them all. If you have already started and are coming from Melinda Everitt’s blog, “If You Bling It”, then you are on the right track.This is one of the cards that we will be making for my July Cards, Etc. Workshop that features the very cool Live Out Loud stamp of the month. I also incorporated some of the images from the exclusive stamp set that only comes with the Victory Workshop-on-the-Go Kit.

Doesn’t my bow look fantastic? 🙂 Wanna know my secret? Cheating! I simply tied a piece of hemp around the long piece to give an illusion of being gathered. Then I tied a knot in a separate piece of ribbon, trimmed the ends and attached with fabric adhesive. Voila!

I distressed the edges of the Desert Sand circle with the Edge Distressing Tool, pierced holes along the edge of the Colonial White circle and masked the shield before stamping the flourish and stars. Finally, I stamped, trimmed and adhered two additional stars with foam tape for extra dimension.

Inks: Chocolate, Barn Red, Outdoor Denim, Desert Sand

Embellishments: Dark Chocolate Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, Durables Square Studs

Other: Cricut Art Philosophy, Sanding Block, Edge Distresser, Piercing Tool, Foam Tape, Sponge, Micro-tip Scissors, Paper Trimmer, Fabric Tac, (Beacon), ATG Adhesive (Scotch)
