It’s been a few days since I’ve posted. Not my stated goal, but I do have a good excuse. Surgery. Nothing life-threatening, but it was my first time having surgery and my first time going under general anesthesia. Everything went well and although I’m still sore, I’m ready to get a few more creative moments in before I have to return to school on Monday, with the kiddos returning the week after.
I originally was supposed to hold my Cards, Etc. Workshop this past Monday, but due to the surgery I had to postpone it. I held it this evening and will host another time on August 25th. Here is one the three cards we’ll be making. Once again, the project features my well-established fave of the new idea book…Seaside, as well as one of my favorite sketch blogs, Mojo Monday.
Supplies used (all CTMH unless otherwise noted):
Papers: Seaside B&T, Desert Sand CS, Colonial White CS
Ink: Lagoon, Hollyhock, Pear, Desert Sand, Glacier
Emellishments: Gold Glitter Paper, Hemp Bakers Twine (retired)
Other: Corner Rounder, Scallop Border Punch, 3D Foam Tape, Sponge, Non-stick Microtip Scissors, Paper Trimmer (Fiskars), Scoring Board (Martha Stewart), ATG Adhesive (Scotch)
It’s also the last day to join in on the CTMH Blog Boosters Annual Inspirations Blog Hop, so I’ll be adding this project momentarily. I’ve already posted a project HERE and HERE. The linky will remain open until 11:59 PT, so if you still want to join, click on one of the linked projects and scroll down to the bottom of the post where you will can join. Even after the cut-off time, you can still click on the links and visit all the great projects that have been shared.
Until next time…
