With just over 20 participants in this blog hop, you are sure to see many, if not all, of the Fundamental lines of paper and just how versatile they are. The hop makes a circle, so if you are started here just continue until you make your way back and you will have made it through them all. If you have already started and are coming from Brenda Lapp’s blog, “Crafting for Sanity? Or Insanity?”, then you are on the right track.
When I was able to preview the Seasonal Expressions Idea Book a full month before it went live in January (a perk of being a consultant), I was thoroughly excited to discover that CTMH was adding new, additional Complements collections to coordinate with the Fundamentals line from the Annual Inspirations Idea Book. I was SUPER excited to see the “My Boy” complements, as I think masculine themed scrapbook supplies is just a little harder to come by and knew that I would just have to create layouts using them. Especially since the last several scrapbook workshops I’ve hosted have featured softer, more feminine designs and colors. So I’m featuring one of my six March workshop layouts for this blog hop and I just love, love, love how it turned out.

| This layout features some ink splattering to help break up the empty white space and kind of help give it a messy (a.k.a. boy) feel. |
| I think my favorite element (besides the papers and complements) is the little mini staples…especially on the banners. |
Other: Small Round Water Brush, 3D Foam Tape, Microtip Scissors, Paper Trimmer (Fiskars), ATG Adhesive (Scotch)
If you would like to add this beautiful collection to your crafting supplies, be sure to contact your Close To My Heart Independent Consultant. If you don’t already have a consultant, I’d love to be yours. You can find this collection here on my website. Also, if you don’t already have a copy of the Annual Inspirations Idea book or the Seasonal Expressions 1 catalog, you can view them online here or contact your consultant (or me) to get a hard copy. And as always, if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

What a great layout and the splatters definitely add a nice touch.
